H.E. Sayyed Ali Al-Amin Mourns the Passing of Pope Francis:

A Beacon of Peace, Love, and Interfaith Dialogue

With deep sorrow and heartfelt grief, we have received the news of the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis, a global symbol of peace and interfaith dialogue, who devoted his life to upholding human and spiritual values and building bridges between the peoples of the world.

We extend our warmest condolences to the State of the Vatican, to the Catholic Church, to His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, as well as to the members and the Secretary-General of the Council, on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.

Pope Francis was a voice of love and tolerance, leaving a radiant mark on the conscience of contemporary humanity—one that will live on in memory and history.

We pray for God’s mercy upon him, and for patience and solace for his loved ones and followers. May the global spiritual family be inspired to carry forward his legacy of fraternity, cooperation among human beings, and the spread of love, kindness, and peace.
